Trinity Christian School

Welcome from the Head Teacher

Education in the UK seems constantly in a state of flux. Educators and politicians argue about the appropriateness of testing, and then about the results. Are we really falling behind in standards? What do we mean by education? What do you want for your children? We believe more than ever that Christian schools are needed.

Since 1978 Trinity School has provided unique education for the young people who have attended: challenging academically, but in an atmosphere that recognises that personal and spiritual growth are also important. We aim to prepare our students to be successful in colleges and careers and to prepare them for lives of service and leadership.
To achieve this aim, we see the need for a community of parents, teachers and students, working together for the children, creating something unique in Tameside.

When parents begin the search for a school that will match their expectations of what education should offer, atmosphere, opportunities, the quality of the curriculum, the philosophy of the school, the exam results all come into play as important factors. For a family searching for a curriculum which emphasises Christian values along with a serious academic programme we believe Trinity School offers something special. It is a place where students come to feel confident that they are receiving a good preparation for life.

Since it began, Trinity School has faced and overcome many challenges, and today has around 110 students from Nursery class to Y11, and from about 75 families. These come from some thirty different churches or from no church at all.

Should you decide to apply, we would want you to bear in mind that the atmosphere is distinctively and purposefully Christian, and the work is stimulating, challenging and rigorous.
