First Day at School
We understand that the first day at a new school can feel exciting—and sometimes a little overwhelming!
At Trinity Christian School, we want to make the transition as smooth and welcoming as possible for both pupils and parents.
Primary School(Nursery to Year 6)
Start of Day:
Please arrive at the Primary entrance on Quarry Street. A staff member will open the gate at 8.25am to welcome families.
Children will then be taken into class ready for registration at 8.40am.
(Nursery and Reception pupils go straight to the classroom with their parent/ carer).
What to bring:

All pupils should bring a packed lunch, (see our lunchbox requirements on the link below).

A coat, suitable for all weathers.​

A bookbag (purchased from our Uniform Supplier - See details on our Parents' Information Page.

End of Day:
Parents should wait at the Quarry Street gate, which opens at 3.00pm, and walk through to the Primary building to collect their children.

Before School Club (Primary only)
Children who are pre-booked into the club may arrive from 7.45am via the main front entrance. Please use the intercom to gain access, and a staff member will direct them to the Primary building. Only children who are booked into the club will be permitted entry at this time.
Secondary School (Y7-Y11)
Start of Day:
Secondary pupils should be dropped off on Quarry Street and make their way independently to the main front entrance. They will wait in the playground until a staff member calls them in for registration. Please note that supervision is only available from 8.25am.
What to bring:

Please note: Mobile phones are collected from pupils at registration and securely stored until the end of the school day. This helps minimise distractions and ensures a focused learning environment.

End of Day:
Pupils will exit via the main front entrance under staff supervision at 3:00pm. Parents collecting their children should wait or park on Quarry Street. If running late, please inform the school office as soon as possible so we can ensure pupils remain safe.
