Lunchbox Requirements
Healthy Lunchboxes & Allergy Awareness
At Trinity, we’re committed to promoting healthy eating and keeping all our children safe—especially those with allergies. We really appreciate your support in following the guidelines below:
🚫 Allergy Alert – Nut-Free School
We have children with severe allergies, so we kindly ask that no nuts or nut products are brought into school. This includes:
-
Peanuts, walnuts, almonds
-
Peanut butter, nut-based snacks, or any food containing nuts (e.g. some dressings, cakes, or bars)
Even traces of nuts can be dangerous, so please ensure your child washes their hands before coming to school if they’ve handled any nut products at home.
🍏 Snacks & Lunchboxes
-
Children only need one small item for a morning snack, which can be taken from their lunchbox.
-
Please send a balanced, healthy packed lunch. Here are some ideas:
A great lunchbox might include:
✔ Fresh fruit or vegetables
✔ A sandwich with a savoury filling (e.g. tuna, cheese, ham) or starchy foods like cold pasta or rice
✔ A dairy item like cheese, labelled bottle of water
✔ One small sweet treat (e.g. a biscuit or cake) or a savoury snack like crisps (baked or lower fat options)
✔ Optional extras: seeds, crackers, breadsticks, etc.

We are unable to heat up food at school, so please don’t send hot meals or drinks for health and safety reasons.
