Pastoral Support

Pastoral Support

Our pastoral support provides a calm, caring space where pupils can explore their feelings and emotions in a safe and supportive environment. Whether it’s through talking, playing games, baking, sewing, or simply spending time doing something they enjoy, children are gently supported in ways that suit their individual needs.

Sessions are led by Mrs Black, who builds trusting relationships with each child to help them feel understood, valued, and equipped to manage life’s ups and downs.

Gardening

Outdoor Wellbeing

Our outdoor wellbeing sessions with Mrs Purnell offer pupils a unique opportunity to connect with nature, build self-esteem, and enjoy the satisfaction of creating and growing.

Whether planting vegetables, working in our Psalm 23 Garden, or helping to shape new areas of the school grounds, children are encouraged to set goals, work together, and take pride in their achievements.

Sessions bring together pupils from across both Primary and Secondary, fostering teamwork, confidence, and a sense of calm through hands-on, meaningful experiences in the great outdoors.

If you feel your child would benefit from a little extra pastoral support, we’re here to help.
Please don’t hesitate to get in touch with the SENDCo (Mrs Fisher - Primary, Mrs Bamford - Secondary)—we’d be happy to chat and see how we can support them.
