Extra-Curricular Activities

We offer a wide range of enriching extra-curricular activities designed to inspire, challenge, and support the personal development of every pupil. From creative arts and sports to leadership and outdoor adventure, which encourages students to discover new interests and grow in confidence beyond the classroom.

For pupils in Year 9 and 10, we are proud to offer the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award (DofE)—a nationally recognised programme that supports young people in developing independence, resilience, leadership, and a strong sense of personal responsibility.

As a Christian school, we see the DofE as a meaningful opportunity for pupils to live out our values—serving others, showing perseverance, and developing the God-given gifts and character described in the fruit of the Spirit.

Music Club

Our Music Club runs during the second half of each term and offers a fun, creative space for pupils to play their instruments and collaborate with others. The club encourages teamwork, musical expression, and confidence, with a special performance at the end-of-term assembly to showcase their progress and talent.

School Council

Our School Council brings together pupils from across the school to share ideas, discuss improvements, and contribute to positive change. It’s a thought-provoking forum that values every voice, encourages leadership, and fosters a strong sense of pride and responsibility within our school community.

Primary Choir

Our Primary Choir is a joyful and inclusive group where pupils come together to explore a wide range of songs, from uplifting classics to contemporary favourites. Singing in harmony, learning part-singing, and developing confidence through solo opportunities all help to nurture both musical skills and wellbeing. The choir regularly performs at assemblies and school events, sharing their enthusiasm and talent with the wider community.

Our Zumba sessions are a fantastic way for Junior children to stay active while having fun! Combining energetic dance moves with upbeat music, these classes promote fitness, coordination, and confidence. Pupils enjoy expressing themselves through movement in a lively and inclusive atmosphere, all while building healthy exercise habits from a young age.

Gardening Club

Our After-School Gardening Club gives pupils the opportunity to get hands-on in our school’s vegetable plot, learning how to grow, nurture, and harvest a variety of plants. From planting seeds to pulling up carrots, children develop practical gardening skills while discovering the joy of working with nature. The club also promotes teamwork, patience, and an appreciation for healthy eating and environmental care—all in a fun and rewarding outdoor setting.
